Characters are reimporting, however with 200,000 characters this is taking a long time. With an 8-core processor we don't see it taking more than 8-15 hours. However, I can always be wrong.
Due to this we're putting together a simple-quick little arena tournament server along with battlegrounds. We've done this in the past when SF was down so we're going to do it now.
The arena tournament server will have free season 4. No characters will be saved afterward when Smolderforge is ready to open up. This is a temporary server.

Based on the status of it going now, I do not see this taking more than 6-8 hours now. Hopefully will be online 9AM-12PM Eastern tomorrow!

Taking long than I expected but it's almost done importing characters. The item_instance table is huge though too but that will then be the last one.

Fun server has been closed. Backing up characters in case something were to happen. This will take about 10 more minutes. After that Smolderforge will come back online!

If i calculated correctly you should be able to have 257,2 players online 24/7 before the 2TB ends :)
