connection issue

hello,

downloaded the game and replaced realmlist folder like explained in the guide here but still cant connect. granted admin rights to game too, yet always when i want to log in it says "wrong account/pw" (i created a second account to test it, no luck) - is that a common issue? do you have a test account to login maby?

Hello, you should try to delete your "Cache" folder located at the root of your World of Warcraft directory and the "WTF\Config.wtf" file.
You mention a "realmlist folder" but I suppose you meant file instead. Anyway, check that "set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com" without the quotation marks is correctly set on your realmlist.wtf file, and also that it is a .wtf file and not a .txt one.
If it still doesn't work, try to login on the website with the account you created. If it doesn't work, it means you didn't manage to go through the account creation process and will have to create one.

yeah i meant file of course, realmlist should be set correctly
logged in with this account - but same combination doesnt work when loggin into the client

hello this is my 1st post on forums i have connection issue as well , when i tipe user and password its loading for 1 minute and then it says :::Unable to connect:::

Glad you got it figured out.

To anyone else who reads with the same issue: the client does not have the realmlist.wtf set by default. You must set it first!
