I m new at smolderforge.
I downloaded the client from the website and changed the realmlist to "set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com".
If i want to login it says directly "unable to connect".

Did you properly set the realmlist file and/or download the one from our website and place it into the WoW folder?

Go into the WTF folder and open Config.wtf in WordPad or some text editor besides Notepad. Add this to it:
SET realmList "connect.smolderforge.com"

It sounds as if you're having write permissions to that directory, then. If you're not experienced with that kind of stuff, I recommend moving the TBC folder entirely out of Program Files, assuming that is where you installed it to, and rather to Desktop, or Documents, etc.
