That didn't exist in the original AT. You're thinking of the *new* AT which happened years later, 2011 onwards or something like that.

The original AT which came out in 2009 towards 2010 had none of those things. You couldn't even donate for gear, I think they had some mounts for that though, but not the arena reward mounts.

They were heavily advertised on sites like AJ and so forth and initially attracted a lot of TBC veterans including lots of successful retail gladiators.

@Zat yes I did that originally, but he didn't know all my chars on AT either. I only played with him for a short time in the end.
