So I got my free windows 10 update and after that my 2.4.3 client stopped working. I tried to run in xp, vista, 7 mode it with adminstrator rights on and it gives same error and doesnt start the launcher. Then i directly tried to start the wow.exe with same things and I get same error:

"This application has encountered a critical error:
ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Excalibur WoW 2.4.3 (incl addons)\WoW.exe
Exception:0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:00000000

The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000"
The memory could not be "written".

Press OK to terminate the application."

Hey, I've been running Windows 10 since release and it's working fine for me. Looks like could be some sort of corruption error. The best thing I can tell you to do is redownload the client. You may want to backup your Interface (Addons) and WTF (settings) folders to use, and redownload the client.

Best advice I can give in this case. Let me know if it fixes it.

Hello, I did the things you suggested so I downloaded everything from Smolderforge.com and replaced its addons and wtf with the old ones and Im still getting same error every time Im starting it. Edit: I tried to open without the old files I backed up as well.

Got it working now! What I did was update my graphics card driver. (Nvidia)
