This is what we get when trying this kind of script: http://i.imgur.com/ClD7YdD.jpg
There is something which allow them to use these scripts. It should be detected by Warden anyway, but not sure if they're still using it.
Player Script hacking
Re: Player Script hacking
I have played a bit on Smolderforge again last week and I have faced maybe 5 speedhackers in BG's and 1 flyhacker, so I doubt that Smolderforge has Warden.. It's like they just blocked WoWEMUhacker manually. People are just advancing from CheatEngine and Deathsoft.
There's no more trusted observer than someone who suspects you.
Re: Player Script hacking
Warden is not reliable anti-cheat. It just checks specific adresses in memory for the expected result, then autobans if the result is different. You can nullify warden checks or just hook DirectX endScene and inject your code directly into the client, the way PQR/Honorbuddy do.
There are different ways to prevent speed/flyhack serverside. But those aren't 100% reliable either. Some people will just send fake packets, heartbeat speedhack was a thing for a long time on retail (sending as many packets as the server expects to move/teleport really fast).
I'm with Evolve if it comes to RvR and "insane reaction times" or some shit. It's mostly prediction. To my knowledge, there are no public Lua unlockers Warden doesn't already catch for TBC and no PQR ripoff I'm aware of either.

Re: Player Script hacking
^ This. Our Warden system detects the known Lua injectors for 2.4.3. I know of none others, and haven't heard of any others as well. It is POSSIBLE that there is a new, private one this guy has managed to procure somehow... but not too likely I'd imagine. I just don't think there is enough for me to really take any action against this, since I have no plausible reason to believe this is possible at the moment. I could be very wrong, but there is simply no known way to do this right now.Schaka wrote:To my knowledge, there are no public Lua unlockers Warden doesn't already catch for TBC and no PQR ripoff I'm aware of either.
