Re: Possible solution for AV que

Hi, I noticed it is hard to get an AV matched open and to stay open. Maybe lowering the amount of players required to start the battle to 15 or 10 could help? People are getting frustrated to wait for so many players to que at once that people go afk/log off/or que 3's. It just never gets opened or if it does it closes. If these players could get in the match and stay in, other players will begin to join and it will help to get the ball rolling. Thanks, I don't know if it is possible but I would like to see if it could help.

Or simply make AV a PvP zone with daily quests and custom elite guards and you know, each time you kill a player, you earn a badge or something.

I feel like that solution is not going to work. I saw that before on servers before AV worked at all. It's like taking a large area and making it so far spread out you'll take 5 minutes to run to the other side and hope you come across another player. Also with 0 objectives. Why would people play this when the map was designed, with objectives, to be a battleground? You're trying to make it something lesser and assume that will be better. I just do not see how that works exactly. I'm trying to imagine playing it and I just envision a lot of running around and boredom. While not everyone likes the BG, at least there is constantly objectives to be working towards.

Or just set right next to AV Battlemaster a WSG Battlemaster and let the People decide which battleground they want to play. At the moment I see when's time for AV the server lagg increases like hell and there isn't even AV open it's just a wasted hour imo, I could be wrong here but it's just my impression over the last days.

I doubt the server lags because a BG comes available that "isn't even open". That's just superstition.

Trying to divide players between an 80-man battleground and a 20-man battleground isn't going to work either. We tried that years ago when SF had around 400 players online and AV still was struggling to pop that way, so we made it a part of the rotation. Sure, people prefer other BGs but AV is still a part of the game, and many players do enjoy it. Players have been farming marks from AV for ages for transmog gear, and suddenly it'll just be for nothing? The result of that is to that is to make the gear easier to get, which I don't think anyone would appreciate either.

Strange, when it's time for AV my MS increases and I heard that from other people as well.
