What exactly about subjectivity is unfair? It was made clear from the first post that GMs would rate based on their personal opinions.

It's pretty clear what applies to the rules. I responded more to Discyo and I think it's sufficiently unfair to not join this 'competition'. I also think thats one of the reasons why it was so little interest in it. It would probably be dead if the reward was something else less attractive for the collector.

When it comes to this kind of events/forum competition games too many things matter, such as recognition, buddies, I like, I don't like, he sucks, he's cruel, faction, vested interest, sexy, online, donated, for the Forsaken! and so on, now it was just a few selected voters that was clear from the start but it won't be neutral towards the fair.

well I suppose what was rated more here was the effort put in to (get) the gear, rather than the looks
