Ouch, that guide is actually ancient and probably shouldn't be used. I'll unsticky it.
@patte93 my recommendations would be download the pre-installed client at: http://download.smolderforge.com, extract it, and replace the realmlist.wtf with the one here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i7l6bhmqpygm4 ... t.wtf?dl=1
Mac OS X since Lion (2011) no longer can run the native 2.4.3 client. No idea why because 1.12 runs and so does 3.3.5a. There's just a glitch in the system that will never be fixed since Blizzard no longer updates the game. Due to this, if you're running on a Mac running the newer operating system versions since 2011 then you can no longer run it natively. However, there's a fantastic implementation of WINE(Windows Emulator) in a program called PlayOnMac. I recommend it as the performance is very good and it's the only wine implementation I've seen that can fix the mouse-camera issue that other WINE emulators have via a setting. I probably should make a video guide on how to do it...
Let me know if you get stuck.

Re: Smolderforge on Mac
Hi,
I've downloaded PlayOnMac, running mountain lion, and when I play WoW I get flickering when I open a menu, that doesn't go away.
The way I'm using playonmac might be wrong - I've opened playonmac, selected install a program, install a non-listed program, and then clicked wow.exe.
cheers!

You'll have to wait for Henhouse, cause he's one of the few who knows how WoW on Mac works.
