Legendary Items Not Transmogging off the new transmog vendor

Not sure if thats intended or what. Bought a Atiesh Staff on one char and Thunderfury on another. Both are unable to be transmogged into an equivalent slot item. I'm assuming this is a mistake since these items are off of the transmog vendor and indeed intended to be transmogged ;)

Transmog system is based on the retail one. Legendary items cannot be used as transmogs.

So then what is the point of having a transmog vendor that has transmog items that cant be transmogged.


Atiesh is a great item. But id never actually use it other than for aesthetic reasons.

This happened to someone else yesterday. There's some definite miscommunication with the items being on that vendor. We took all the "popular transmog items" and threw them into that vendor... but we only added the level 60 legendaries because many people request to donate for them via email to me, and we thought it would be easier to throw them in there. I guess that was a really poor idea. Perhaps we should move them to the vanity vendor.

If you're extremely unhappy with these items now, I can either refund your money and remove the items, or swap them out for something else.
