Authenticating problem.

Hey i just made a new account and dowloaded the TBC pre installed version and when i launch through wow.exe i login and it just is stuck at AUTHENTICATING, any help? Please? Thanks.

You need to set the realmlist first.

Open the realmlist.wtf file that's in the main folder and put the following contents inside:

set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com

Save, and then boot the game.

How do i open it up? Its a wtf file. It says that it doesnt know how to open the file up.

I did and now it doesnt say authenticating anymore, it just goes to Connecting then just says Unable to connect. :/ please help. I think it also doesnt save whenever i try making changes to anything in the TBC folder it just says access denied please help.

Can someone please help me i really wanna play, whenever i put set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com in the realmlist.wtf it doesnt save, whenever i try replacing the realmlist with the other one it says access denied, please help :(

you should have realmlist file not realmlist.wtf

i have no idea about this acess denied thing, maybe you git from feenix, i heard of some people getting it there and having troubles connection to other servers, here you can find working tbc:

Which ones do i download ive already downloaded the 2 tbc ones

Its still stuck at authenticating i i downloaded the 2 tbc ones, i also cant make any changes to the tbc folder because apparently its "read-only"

Turn off UAC to save it. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... rol-on-off

Or save to desktop, click and drag it in and overwrite.
