Re: Server fucked up

Server is back online now. The core was frozen and requires someone who has full access and a lot of experience with UNIX command lines in a terminal. So yes, it requires me.

Last time this happened I thought I enabled a max core stuck timer which will kill the server is it stays stuck for, say, 2+ minutes. I have enabled it now.

Should, yes. I haven't used the feature in years because it used to be overly sensitive and, for example, kill itself when arena points were being flushed. I've set the threshold to 2 minutes which should be enough time, if not I'll raise it. But theoretically, yes, it should realize if the core hasn't responded in that amount of time to kill itself, then the restarter will handle the rest.

It's important to remember these "Connected" issues aren't crashes, something caused the core to completely freeze (and it's pretty much impossible to find out what). So this is definitely a good thing to have now enabled. I just hope I can trust it again.
