Rage on damage taken is very low.

I do know that most other 2.4.3 servers have very bugged formulas for rage generated on damage taken.

Eight months ago or so, rage taken was not taking into account armor, and was also often 2x higher than it should have been.

As far as I can tell, rage generated from damage taken should always be approximatly 1% of mitigated, damage received.

getting rupture and shadow word pain tick and I cant get 10 rage to intercept after that or intervene my partner its definetly not working correctly

Well, videos and similar things are what I have based our values off.

Have a look at this fight from Eviscerate 8. Full 10s stunlock on warrior, and atleast ~2000 damage done when you take into account healing.

10s of stun = 20 rage
2000 damage = 20 rage.

You can see after the end of the stunlock that the warrior has about 40ish rage. A warrior will have a similar amount currenty on Smolderforge, yet on may other tbc servers the rage bar will bounce up to 70 or 80 rage.

From the values I have read in the warrior tbc threads, and what our rage system uses:

SWP tick - 500 damage ~ 5 rage
Rupture tick - 300 damage ~ 3 rage

Surely generating 8 rage from two ticks is about right?

I still doubt it's 100% correct... A couple of other warriors I've played with (4+ years of exp warriors) have complained about it too. But it might really be bugged everywhere else. Anyways thanks alot for the fast replies.

i vouch this. its completely different on other servers, on nextgen u can play sweeping strikes like you can play anger managment on SF, watched my fair share of warrior videos even when watching them the rage regen is higher than SF idk i just took it as the norm here but i have recently been thinking its got worse

so yeah I've been experiencing some rage issues too, it's not that I'm complaining because warriors are nerfed, not my wish to get into that topic..
I'm a 8year exped warrior and rage is fucked up here, in s4 you can see me running around for a t5/s2 priest and I'm the one thats getting smashed, it's silly.
Garrote and rupture ticks wont even let me PH or WW, as they used to back in retail.. and I dont even want to talk about fights vs a hpala, rsham or a rdruid. Not getting enough rage to HS is frustrating
