Buffs

I have noticed that few players have buffs shown, well, strange:

I can't really expalin it more than what the screenshot shows. What is strange is that they r shown as debuffs and i can even attempt to cleanse them. I'm just wondering what this is.

One more question: how can some mages be invisible while on a mount? Doesn't mounting remove invisibility buff?
