Well didn't PayPal take 50 cents out of $5 donation aswell? Only a few % difference anyways.

So...

They accepted me. They wrote me back and everything with more information and if I want to receive the contract to sign (wonder how interesting that contract is).

They take a 14% cut of all donations so, that is quite a large number. However, I think it's okay because the amount of people donating more will probably go up since we'll be opening payment possibilities for a lot of players who are unable to donate.

Fantastic news, so when can we expect new donate option?

Probably within a few weeks. It's almost Christmas so Adam is busy.

Hey guys, bit of an update:

So in order to proceed with Paysafe I am going to have to register Smolderforge, which I really, really do not want to do for legal and many other personal reasons. I may be able to get around it by registering myself as a sole proprietor, but once again -- I'm not too comfortable with adding that kind of history and record to my name. Smolderforge has never been considered a business to me -- it was always just my hobby.


However, I have been informed that prepaid Visa cards (that you can also get in grocery and gas stations) work with Google Wallet (they didn't with Paypal), therefore I highly recommend that as an alternative for now. Please let me know how well this works. Thanks.
