What are the best weapons to use for sub?
What are the best weapons to use for sub?
At the moment, I'm using Dagger (Main) and Sword (Off)
I use the dagger for main because i'm a fan of Ambush/Backstab.
I'm quite new to this expansion so I don't really know if my choice is fine or if it's better if I used something else, thanks.

Re: What are the best weapons to use for sub?
Slow mh, fast oh. Hemo is your bread and butter. Ambush/backstab shouldn't be used unless you're specifically going for such a spec.
So in most cases sword/mace/fist in mh, and a dagger in oh.

Thanks Cube, are there certain talents/talent tree's that go best with this combo?
Re: What are the best weapons to use for sub?
brutal glads right ripper and brutal shiv in off hand
and use this macro for switching daggers and poisons and stacking poisons
#show Brutal Gladiato's Right Ripper
/equipslot 17 Brutal Gladiato's Right Ripper
/cast shiv
replace the weapons with what u have (pref. the shiv, mutilator, shanker)
Talents
go with 20.0.41
go 5/5 vile poisons and 4/5 the critcial strike 5 talent
and in sub u go 4/5 camoflague and 1/1 ghostly strike rest is normal
but vile poisons is essential if u play arena without keeping poisons up is so hard
and use this macro for switching daggers and poisons and stacking poisons

If you don't speak alien, ignore this guy.
Here's the cookie cutter sub spec.
The weapon switching he's talking about is to be able to stack additional poisons with shiv. If you're still trying to ease into your class and game, you could hop this little trick for now. If you're still interested, here's how it works.
Normally you'll have your crippling poison on your oh, which obviously makes shiv apply crippling poison. However, if you have other offhand weapons in your bags, with different poisons applied, you can equip them in combat to stack more poisons (wound and mind-numbing). You'd want fast daggers to do this. Personally I use s2/3/4 oh's for poison stacking.

With these three macros you can shiv all three poisons. First one being crip, second wound and third mn. You can (and should) have regular macros/binds/whatever to switch weapons as per normal, but in combat a weapon switch triggers a gcd. A way to get around this is to glitch the gcd, and merge it with an abilities gcd instead. So if you would first switch to another oh, and after that shiv, that would require two gcd's. One for the weapon switch, and another for the shiv. With a macro that switches a weapon and uses an ability at the same time, you only trigger one gcd.

Vs some casters you might not need wound poison in mh. Macro swithing to mind numbing in mh could give you an advantage aswell.
That 2.8 speed pve mace is an interesting choice for hemo, although if you are a donor you probably will be better of with S4.
