While from the business side of things, this is a brilliant move, the actual hosting of the event will be such a hassle (trust me) you will end up quitting on it or be needing help from (several) GM's and people will still complain regardless.
Thats why GM's dont host events bro, people will always complain.

If i would be a GM i would make events all the time, but i understand what you're saying. And if people start to fuck up, i will just stop the event and continue in Another day.

There's a reason staff doesn't bother. Their events always fail due to nobody fucking listening. They do, however, sometimes spawn lvl 60 bosses, which you guys bitch doesn't drop gear. I can see why.

As soon as the first of the 80 participants who are all rogues start dueling each other a barrage of hundreds of chain heals and rain of fires comes down on the duelers making every visual cue of them even fighting each other useless.
Denergo: Guys!!! Alright. Let's try that again. We'll do it in the Dire Maul Arena. Nobody intercepts this time.
Another pair of rogues begins to duel in the arena, with hundreds of people quietly watching.

In a blink of an eye, thousands of mages erupt out of invisibility killing the duelers, making everyone jump from their seats into the arena spamming every possible cooldown, quickly turning the arena in a massacre.
Firstaidkit gets the first 10,000 kills but the list of who got the most Hks in the world in dire maul at the moment shows Ezatt at the first place because Fak chose the wrong face in the character selection screen.
Suddenly people turn into Illidan, others have millions of health and out of nowhere billions of bosses appear, killing everyone, as Henhouse himself throws lighting out of the sky to stop the madness.
Denergo, unable to comprehend what is happening, runs off to his home, the black temple, which is actually made out of sunmotes.

And about that this Staff on this server can't host events, that's just sad.
I've played on the TBC server Lastwow for 1.5 years and their events that i joined never failed.
