I find myself doing CONSIDERABLY less damage as a hunter in SC than I've been doing in SWP during TBC.Terrion wrote:The consecrate is manageable for melee but pets get owned by it instantly. Aren't pets supposed to have very high resistance to aoe attacks? Maybe make them immune to the consecrate specifically

Wrong.
These armor values were taken from http://elitistjerks.com/f31/t16629-raid ... or_values/ , posted during TBC:
Sunwell Plateau:
Kalecgos (Dragon): 6200
- Sathrovarr the Corruptor: 6200
Brutallus: 7700
Felmyst: 6200
The Eredar Twins:
- Grand Warlock Alythess: 6200
- Lady Sacrolash: 6200
M'uru / Entropius: 7700
- Shadowsword Fury Mage: 5700
- Shadowsword Berserker: 7100
- Void Sentinel: 6800
Kil'jaeden: 6200
- Hand of the Deceiver: 5900
- Sinister Reflection: 5475
Notice that all but 2 of the bosses have either 6200 or 7700 armor. A similar pattern occurs in the trash mobs: 5475/5700/5950 or 6800/7100/7400 for level 70/71/72 mobs. In terms of percentage reduction, these values result in either 34.15% or 39.15% armor reduction vs attackers of the same level as the mob. "
The armor values are the same as they were in Zul'Aman
Zul'Aman:
Nalorakk: 7700
Akil'zon: 7700
Jan'alai: 7700
Halazzi: 7700
Hex Lord Malacrass: 6200
Zul'jin: 7700
It's not a big deal to go over 2400 dps in Zul'Aman as a hunter.
The pet dies after spending less than 4 seconds in consecrate, sometimes dying within 2 seconds. It does LOW damage and controlling it is a pain in the back. I can't see how a hunter could ever achieve more than 2.5k in SC with these armor ratings and pet dying all the time, it's very easy to get over 2700 dps in SC as a warlock though.
