Because if I just randomly enable it again, it will suck, no one will queue, it will get full of wintraders and you will QQ at me for ruining it for enabling it too fast.

If you want 3v3 to come back, you need to let us have time to plan out the best possible way to bring it back (which is quite difficult to be honest) else it will fail horribly again.

Announce it soon enough (2-4 weeks), so people can gather up and create arena teams (groups).

I support the idea of giving out a new prize! That would get the normal 2v2 players to try 3v3. But I also agree with Henhouse, that if it was released now it would be just like last time and nobody would play it. So like you said you would have to build some hype around it before opening it again, but I think giving out a unique mount as a prize would definitely interest a lot of people.

I think a suitable solution could be enabling it everday only for 1 hour with alerting system messages on the chat (before and at the beginning of it, and frequentated alerting during the 3v3 session too). This could gather all the 3v3 fans so people couldn't wintrade. MAYBE even blocking 2v2 for the duration of the session.

That's definitely not a good idea. Many people don't play arena and have no interest to. This server won't be enjoyable when were that desperate we start disabling things to force players to do something. Players should want to so something.

You force ppl to play av... And 90% of the ppl hate it...
And blocking smth is like the normal bg rotation... Just with 3v3 times all 4 hours or smth like that

Av or not, it's still a battleground, and the same rules apply. What you're talking about is temporarily blocking a whole aspect of the game to promote another, which there are people who aren't interested in whatsoever.

Blocking 2v2 during 3v3 hours could be a decent idea. Blocking bg's during 3v3 hours is a terrible idea.

I agree with what Roned said:

you could get more players from other server.
you could bring inactive players back.
you could give the active players some new expirience in the game.
you could receive more donations from new players.
More classes can be played.

One thing i'd like is if you could get special looks on items when over, lets say, 2050 rating. Like AT, warglaivelooking brutalswords, sulfuras looking 2h mace etc etc. Mounts for season ending is also ncie, and obviously it would be sick to have the legendary scarab mount aswell :)

Let's first think about an system that actually prevents wintrading (Wasn't that implemented already? Works probably just as good as the HK rankings page)?
