I must say that I have looked into the rage system extensively and it seems to be correct. TBC has a pretty punishing rage normalisation system, but from my testing a 950 damage white hit rewards approx 18 rage, which is what all the elitistjerks forum threads suggest is the correct value. I also tested Endless rage and it gives exactly +25% rage. If you think there is a particular problem with the system however, please report it and I will look into it.
Well, i dont want to accuse you for anything, if you say its correct then it surely is, but when im playing the hybrid spec, it just doesn't feel right imo. I can't really remember, that i've struggled that much for rage back in the days, except against high armored targets, and it was the usual arena/pvp spec as Outskilled also said.

Looking for more opinions.
Sincerely Swackx.
I actually agree with you 100%. I often am rage starved playing my arms warrior if I am not getting targeted, but I have checked the rage generation formulas carefully, and they seem to be in-order. I think it could be to do with the pace of the game with so much pve gear on SF. You see very high damage and healing from all the classes, so you assume that rage will scale the same way.
However, due to the rage normalisation formula, rage does not scale well at all in tbc. The difference between S1 and S4/Sunwell gear is around 2~3rage per hit. Crit however does scale very well for rage generation, as you gain ~ 2.5 times the rage from critical strikes.

Indeed, maybe you're right with your assumption, because i can't remember 100% correctly about what happened 4-5 years ago.
Also there's nothing wrong with critical strikes and rage generation imo, although if you don't crit its like you're struggling to even keep hamstring on one target, not even talking about ms.
But i may be completely wrong, since i haven't played that much warr last time, but coming from my experience playing on here, warrior's don't deal any damage as hybrid and that is pretty much my opinion.
Sorry I didn't mean there was anything wrong with critical strike. Warriors are supposed to gain a lot from crits, which is why resilience can be so devastating to their damage. I will keep looking into these issues.
Yeah sorry, i didn't mean that either, it was a little error from me like i wrote that and i appreciate that you actually care about some major problems of any class/spec or whatsoever on here.
Good to have someone to talk, who also has got experience.
