[Felguard] weapon damage bugged

Felguard damage increases are now live. If someone would be so kind to report back in here with results that would be great.

Demonic pact now correctly increases the Felguards crit chance by 5percent which is great news. Soul link also increases the pets damage by 5percent.

However the felguards base weapon damage change is confirmed not live atm. or at least not working. its still 99-134.

On the damage still being too low I agree, but my test results show that atleast SL ain't working.

I just put up soul-link and it increased the actual damage tooltip on my felguard, so it should be working. I can confirm that the Felguard damage base range is not currently increased, possibly due to a patching issue. It should be fixed very soon.

Edit: I looked at your screenshots, look how much higher the avg and avg crit damage is for your felguard in the second one. The reason your dps did not go up is that you got unlucky with crits (11.5% vs 7.5% in the second screenshot. The actual damage per hit went up around 5%.

Hmm... You could be right since 200 attacks shows kinda narrow results. I added 5% to "before" values and got pretty much the same numbers I had with Soul Link for single hits and crits.

Yeah, when I was testing this change on my test realm, I did tests of 1000 melee attacks minimum. It is surprising how much rng can impact results from a smaller sample size.

Not to mention other players with e.g. Hemorhage and Blood Frenzy debuffs.

Are there any updates on why the weapon damage change hasn't taken affect, as its by far the most important change to the Felguard. Would be interested to see if the coding worked or not.

The coding definitely works. From my conversations with Exsurgo it was extensively tested and I got to see some of its modified damage. I think maybe there was an implementation error, or some kind of coding conflict between Smolderforge and wherever it was tested.
