Re: SWP gear for non-donaters
Just remove SWP gear from the donor mall. This is a PvP Server and when you donate for S4 you should get god damn S4. Not S4 and top-end raidgear. It harms balance, it makes things more bursty than they originally were (because not everyone had access to a decent raiding guild in retail TBC) and it is plain retarded to run around with 250 resil and 2.5kAP (at least from a Rogue PoV - Dunno exact stat numbers for other classes. But, haste retarded boomkins, anyone, with fkin swp cloth items? yep, exactly.)
Want SWP gear? Raid SWP. Simple as that.
You can't find decent raiders? Either try to bring some friends from retail or something, or (Oh the horror!) find some people who have a brain and spend some time helping them to improve. Kinda utopic for the population here, I know, but oh well...

Re: SWP gear for non-donaters
As soon as Scarlet Citadel arrives, you'll get your wish. Non donaters will be able to get the gear. Now, will they clear it, or wipe to it endlessly and whine for it to get nerfed. That's the real question. Personally, I don't see a purpose with installing a new raid, until you've seen a CURRENT pve example of at least Kara, or Gruul's, or even Magtheridon. Seeing as none of this seems to be cleared by players on this server, why should it really matter? Unless it's free and requires no brain, the non donaters will still never have it. The same could be said about s4 gear becoming lower in rating to get. Is it sub 1500? if not, there's not that much of a change to really notice.

Wooooord. Id rather see something like a daily which would motivate players do something like Kara, where most groups already get crashed when minimal coordination is required. Lolmoroes.

Re: SWP gear for non-donaters
you guys have to figure that SC actually worked in terms of PvE when it was installed.
there was a big ol event yelling when it was open and broadcasting the whole raid to the server. was pretty cool, and people flocked to it, made instant raid groups and attempted it. back then it wasnt dificult at all, and served as kind of a "starter raid"/"ego boost" and players then, after clearing it went on to kara/any other raid with their same group.
i want it back, though I probably wont get a chance to raid it since my timezone is fuckedd compared to you euro guys.
