Really? Chest/helm/shoulders? Not the item every pvper uses, the pants?Exsurgo wrote:They should probably remove the sunwell chest/helm and shoulder-pieces as-well if we wanted better server balance (although I doubt that would ever happen).

Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
The reason I think the legs should probably stay is because every class has decent legs available, however only rogues/warrors and maybe caster dps have a chest piece that is actually overpowered in terms of stats.
But maybe the legs should be removed too, but if that was the case then the chect/shoulders and helms should be removed also so that nobody is using the sunwell pieces in pvp and sticks to t6/s4 which is much more equally balanced.

Would be nice, but it'll never happen. And on top of that, the swp distribution has done its damage already.Exsurgo wrote:The reason I think the legs should probably stay is because every class has decent legs available, however only rogues/warrors and maybe caster dps have a chest piece that is actually overpowered in terms of stats.

Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
Exactly. Not to mention it is not a dedicated arena or pvp server anyway. It's not the servers fault anyway, more so Blizzard for making SWP gear so insanely good because they realised the gap between 2.3 and 3.0 was going to be too long.Cube wrote:

Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
I vote for 1. You'll generally only see melee damage classes voting for 2, since they gain the biggest advantage out of all the overpowered PvE gear. But yeah, if you do this, prepare for a lot of whining.Henhouse wrote: 1. Remove SWP weapons from the vendor and make them donate-only (and SC when it opens of course).
2. Add all SWP weapons to the vendor but every one will be 40k or more honor. Prices rise, but you get more items.
Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
I actually think it will hurt casters harder. Every s4 donor dps caster in the game uses Sunflare. The classes/specs that will be hit the hardest with option (1) will be caster dps and mutilate rogues/feral druids. Caster dps however is obscene in BGs when they are able to free-cast. Nevertheless I think we need to go further as Cube says and remove the chest/legs/helm and shoulder pieces along with only the ilvl 164 weapons. I understand that is a drastic proposition, and there is perhaps no point making changes at this stage.Hmzz wrote:I vote for 1. The really OP items are Hammer of Sanctification, Hand of the Deceiver, Sunflare and the Golden Staff, and these should be donate only. (Although balance would be better if they were never introduced)

Whats so OP about the banana staff?

Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
A (smart) druid or priest will enchant it with spirit, gem it for full spirit and then equip it when they use their mana regeneration trinket or innervate, and due to the scaling mechanics they will literally regenerate all their mana in less that 20 seconds. Luckily not that many people know about this but it is slightly ridiculous when it happens.
Or used on its own it is a damn good staff anyway (although probably the least overpowered of the ilvl164 items)

Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
I will say no more, funny how i start using full cloth swp and now every balance druid uses it...Mayore wrote: only cunts like you who can't play at all use swp gear
Anyways i alredy explained having that gear also means you get 2 shooted from mages, 3/4 shooted from warriors, etc...
About your statement i assume you can play this game really well, right mister "vglad".
And it's funny that most people with gear defend the first option, not thinking about the new comers, on the other hand it will increase pve in the server, like i said i can see both sides.
I wont feed you anymore, cya around Mayore.
Re: SWP Vendor: Item Suggestions
I would defend it even if they removed all my shit. Swp just shits all over the game.
