Easy solution, because what you're asking for ACTUALLY exists already.

You're in a BG where you know you're not going to win... hmm, eat 15m deserter? Hell no! Alt F4!
your toon logs out instantly, you stay on the roaster for FIVE MINUTES. After that you're removed from the game, but do not trigger deserter. Now, granted you cannot play that toon at ALL during that 5 minutes, you can swap a different toon; or, simply wait it out and rejoin.

Or you can invite someone in bg and que arena or another bg if he gets the queu he will get out without deserter too.

Why not join a premade? Doesn't need to be a full one. Just get a few buddies or join a guild. Also, as akeno said most ally premades aren't really that good. I play solo 90% of the time and I can say I've won a lot of games vs premades. Even when I meet a strong premade, I just get behind their HK farming click and get some 1vs1 action. Few days ago I camped a s4 war for like 10mins in wsg :D That bro was so mad he was sending me walls of text raging for like 15mins :D Anyway if you are resto you can't really do a lot solo shit. You can do it as feral if you like that kind of play style.

I pictured him doing that while writing it actually. Its not such a common thing to do, so removing deserter shouldnt have dramatic negative effects.
