Skype sucks; it sucks op too much memory of your computer, one person has to peer2peer host, when it disconnects while in arena/bg what ever you have to get back on to call group again.
With that said, Get Ventrilo, you have a free server anyway.

Ventrilo has a way higher ping even in user hosted servers, worse sound quality and a shitty voice detection system.
If your Skype is "sucking too much memory" of your computer, time to upgrade. ANY modern pc (dualcores prefereably) will easily run Skype on top of the game of your wish. I tried on my laptop at my friends place, a pretty old 1.8ghz dualcore and a _1mb_ WiFi was more than enough to host a Skype call (for 2 people) without any lag whatsoever.
