I think I remember an interview where the writer said this season some guys might come back, like Grimmjow, maybe Nel? I wonder. I totally forgot about Aizen's portals, they do look like a rip in the sky. Also, he never used his hypnotizing sword vs. Ichigo, so they could still all be under his spell.
