Totally forgot about maintenance when I went on my RA shift. Sorry about that, so I'm starting about 20 minutes late.

3 hours it takes to do extended maintenance's. These are long.

Yeah, basically every deleted character doesn't really get "deleted" for restoration purposes, so when we do these 'extended' maintenance's we go through every single table in the database and delete record of them. This is essentially tens of thousands of characters, if not hundreds of thousands. It takes a very long time. Every spell, every item, every friend that had them in friends/ignore list, guild logs, membership, etc. Takes a while.

Tonight will take a little bit longer as well because I also cleared out thousands of accounts that were not used in 10+ months. So it's even MORE stuff that is getting deleted tonight. Database usually drops a 1/3 in size or so. Server restarts become very fast again as we delete SO much unmarked characters (deleted) and also get rid of a lot in general (inactive or banned accounts).
