let me explain about SD for rogues vs. mutilate
i play retail rogue and lets just say mutilate is like pom pyro for mages. its unreal burst dps and almost guarenteed that you will get 6k evisc crits.
Shadowdance is the spec that is more unique in play style and little less reliable but if you can learn to play it, you will not die to almost any class. The way it works is that mutilate and cold blood evis is a very easy combo to down almost anyone with another class. With shadowdance, you're not immune, unstunnable, or unfearable like many other class bursts. You can deal out some of the most deadly damage in the game with this spec but the problem is that your energy is basically unrefilable, you deal little to no damage outside of stealth with backstab...(even tho you can get some unreal crits) and unless the target is stunlocked you have no ways to deal mass amounts of damage. With shadowdance one cannot face roll like a mutilate rogue can because it takes more tactics to use your 10 seconds of pain wisely. although i enjoyed mutilate with a passion, i enjoy Shadowdance so much more that i don't think i could ever go back.. : )

and for pve, i have to say since i have C's Grasp, i use combat fists..not the best, but best fist weapon in game : P

i laugh at you, once again im here to make your life misserable because you should't be talking about rogue specs at all b/c you click kindey shot.
Shadowdance is not so common yet its what Top rogues like Reckful himself uses in Rmps and no the damage outside steath isnt bad. with backstab glyph that was bugged till now you were getting more burst than a mult rogue.
and no pve fist is still very retarded compared to mult in pve, tested myself- the answer is b/c you cant reach the hit cap with Naxx/maly/sarth gear.as am atter of fact you're not even getting close.

and wtf .....Shadowdance you dont do any damage outside of stealth and at the same time you say that ....but u get some crazy damage..make up ur mind mr.Bloodelf Rogue.

oh and tbh-6k eviscs? i've been gettin 9.4 ks with sstep up.
