What is the bug?

Crystal Spire of the Karabor does not work on earthshield

Is it a spell or database issue? (database relates to any NPC, quest or item)

How can you reproduce it?

Get a resto shaman with earthshield and attack him. When he drops below 50% hp the special bonus of ~220 healing should apply to the earthshield heals. However on this server it does not.

Please describe, in detail what is suppose to occur when this bug happens:

The Earthshield should heal for more due to the Crystal Spire below 50% hp proc/effect

Please describe, in detail what happens when it bugs up, and how it's malfunctioning:

The weapon special effect bonus is not being applied to earthshield

Fel reavers piston also does not proc off earthshield. I recon earthshield could be miss-labeled as a periodic heal rather than a direct heal as it should be

I actually have to deny this. I use that mace and it does indeed apply the bonus when healing someone. It does not proc off a earth shield proc, but I'm pretty sure the tooltip is oriented towards direct heals, and not a proc.

If you go to the wowhead thread about the mace, you will find lots of people reporting it working on both earthshield and Nature's Guardian.

The effect that triggers earthshield and natures guardian is a conditional proc, but the heal itself should be a direct heal.

The mace is insane for PvP Shamans because when your hp goes below 50 % the proc will work on each Earthshield tick and Natures guardian proc.

Furthermore it also works on prayer of mending. I did not test it with lifebloom yet, but I am pretty sure it also works."

That's why on retail this was the number 1 healing mace for a resto shaman, along with felreavers piston (which is also bugged as described before)
