Dueling Area

I would like to have one big dueling area for horde and alliance. know this from arena tournament and it works great. What do you guys think about it?

They have one, it's Hyjal. ;p Crude, but more or less supports cross faction duels... until horde shows up for their hourly GY farming session(s).

The reason is due to the way the current sanctuary flags work, not because I'm stupid, but because I actually know... The flags in the TBC core don't support hostile players in a sanctuary no matter what. You used to could duel in the mall, or I mean, start a duel. But once it began you both were friendly. Because of people stupidity we finally added a check to disable the starting of duels in the mall which prevented this issue. So the only way this will change is if we backport a lot of unneeded code to support that. Which I don't want as in Wrath it causes you to have to wait 20-seconds to logout, etc.


I've never been fond of cross-faction dueling. It takes away from PvPing outside city zones and simply homogenizes the server even further, yet you all ask for Horde and Alliance separation, that does not help.

Why do you get mad over nothing ? That is bad for your health ... And who are you to speak for Henhouse ? He speaks his mind quite often , in a polite and normal way . We all appreciate that trait in him. Btw , it is not just me , lots of ppl want this to happen . :)))))
