I agree with OP. In my druid I can just outheal almost everything in season 4, with season 3 I am a little more vulnerable. And the damage produced by s4 compared to s3 is huge. I would like to see some change in the s4 requirements

Look at the 2v2 ladder, there are only like 7(non banned) teams that are at or above 2000 rating, so I ask how is it a reasonable requirement? Imagine non overpowered comps to get that high. Achieving the same rating is easier if the population is higher, if there was 100 people playing arena at any given time it probably would have been ok.

And then someone said that skill>gear, then why a guy with less skill should have worse gear? Because this is what happens when the rating req is that high. You might say that gear should be reward for skill, but then try to tell me that all donors are super pro and deserve it.

Diffrence between s4 and s3 might seem not that huge. For example warrior gains 740 hp, and hp bonus alone proved to be gamebreaking for me so many times.

But the bigger problem is the pve gear that completly destroy the pvp balance of this game, although tis was not the point of my thread.

Now I can give a concrete suggestion how many marks each piece should cost, if you confirm me that the limit of marks that character can carry can be increased to lets say 1000. I hope maybe then this suggestion will make alot more sense.

It shouldn't hurt donations aswell because:
1. My suggestion assumes it will take at least month of dedicated playing everyday to get it, there still will be alot of people that want to get it instantly.
2. My suggestion doesn't give a way to get swp gear and other cool stuff because of this many people will donate anyway.
