There was a reason those two guilds formed premades. Sure, some took it as a chance to GY farm. But I cannot be the only one who used it purely as an opportunity to play alongside like-minded people who want to win, not gloat over how many HKs they received. I think it's important to understand the difference there. However, I don't expect many to view this in the manner I'm trying for.

Well, I'm a healer 90% of the time, so HKs are quite few and far between anyway. But, I understand how and why you'd think that. However, as mentioned previously, I care more about seeing 10, 15, or ~40 people working together as a team; more than I care about seeing us squash people repeatedly. I would have hoped that mentality didn't fall only on my shoulders. You are right however, after two flag captures, it's common for the question to come out, "Cap or Farm?" The answer usually depended on the opposing team's difficulty factor. This was noticed on both sides of the fence, not just alliance or horde.

As outnumbered as Alliance does tend to be at times, we still seem to have less retards running around than horde. Not saying we don't have any, because that'd be an outright lie. Either that or it's just a simple fact that Alliance usually have healers, and horde usually does not know what holy/resto means. Either case, unless it's hyjal (which is just 20-30 person zerg facing off against 1-8 people.) I've noticed that there does tend to be a little more coordination and support come from Alliance than the classic "Fend for Yourself" Horde, whom ignores their team mates 9 times out of 10.

Camping the GY while you have all bases or whatever it is has always been a part of the game. Weather it's for HK's or not, people will always camp GYs when the chance is given simply because there's nothing else to do.
