U can't fix it, but if I understand correctly u can remove the totems completely, Like u did with distract. Removing grounding would make it much more balanced. shammies still have 999 other bugs to abuse so why not remove this one?

I don't know the problem 100% so I'm not going to do anything. But totems are a huge part of Shaman's class, distract isn't. So while I remove this, I would be removing Stealth, Divine Shield, All Druid forms, Charge, Warlocks pets, etc, right? No, these are a huge part and until I can see the bug first hand and find out exactly what is wrong I'm not doing to try to do anything. But I don't want to remove a huge part of something in the class.

All he meant was that one totem, which is a decent sized part even though most shamans don't use it because well they don't really know how to play the class *caugh* caugh*, if it gets too far outa hand and a lot of people are reporting it... I really don't see the harm in disabling that one totem as long as a majority of the shamans don't use it anyways.

I've been designing Scarlet Citadel for the past several hours now, so I'm a little busy. If someone could get me the spell id of this from WoWHead and any other information I need in regards to that totem I'll be glad to look into it. Right now I don't have the time to start researching it.

Spell id:8177
If i cast Cyclone on a shaman his totem will be cycloned but it won't go away. So insteed of absorbing one spell it will absorb all spells until it dies.

So not removing it would be like disabling cyclone, fear and all other non-dmging spells in a shaman fight... Which is worse than disabling every single totem imo. arena is all about CC, and this totem(along with some others) are just ruining the balance in arena.. The totem will absorb any non-dmging spell until it dies, and it is immune to all direct spells.. if u want to kill it u either have to melee it, or do a dmging spell on the shammy.

but the prob is,that the grounding totem is one of the importanst totem a shaman has. when i do 2v2 with zat he tries to NOT EVEN USE IT or to just catch 1 spell.

Shammys still have earth shock every 6. second.. And any decent shammy is able to play without this totem.. Cyclone for a druid is much more important, since they don't have earth shield to do the job for them.
