evocation/blizzard cast does not match realtime cast time
Pet not effected by mana? ... not sure on that one, but i'm sure it shouldn't go oom.

You've taken haste/set bonuses into the calculation here?Hardlight wrote:evocation/blizzard cast does not match realtime cast time
The pet should be dependant on mana, yes.Hardlight wrote:Pet not effected by mana? ... not sure on that one, but i'm sure it shouldn't go oom.

oh lol i meant, my pets mana should be effected by my amount of mana....at least i believe it should... i'll search for some patchnotes...
As for evocation and blizzard...
It's the fact that it keeps channeling when it the spell should be finished. example can be that it says my evocate channels for 7 seconds in the tooltip BUT it does it for 8 seconds. Same with bilzzard...where it should stop at the tooltip amount, but instead persists for the 8 seconds.

Rogue's can shadowstep to you when they're in frost nova.
They'll stay in the nova but they shouldnt be able to shadowstep while in it.

Re: Mage Bugs - Report here
That's working as intended. In TBC you could Shadowstep while rooted just as you describe. It wasn't until Wrath that they removed the ability to do so.Astrup wrote:Rogue's can shadowstep to you when they're in frost nova.

To make it simple, it's the same for any channeling spell for mages (maybe even for some other classes).
Another bug - Dragon's Breath.
The problem is the radius of it. I heard Cone of Cold is having the same problem.
The problem is not the 'range' of it, but the width of the blast area effect - not sure if I wrote it correctly.
I made a simple sketch of the radius, so you can understand exactly what I mean. (red lines: roughly how it should be [remember it's only a sketch], black lines: 'actual' radius)
If someone knows some trustworthy site that mentions 2.4.3 blizzard spell parametres or call it w/e you want, it would help.
It would make our lives easier.. *cough* Oh wait, they are anyway. But still!

2 things
Water Elemental actually scales with the Mages Stamina, Intellect, Armor, Spellpower, Spell hit. Does not work. Elemental doesnt scale with you. Always spawns with 3k hp/mana, hence he goes oom so quickly.
Proof : http://elitistjerks.com/f75/t30655-wotl ... _3_3_live/
"It gains 1/3 (33.33%) of its master's spell power, and all their spell hit from gear."
"Its Stamina is 118 + 30% master's stamina, Intellect is 369 + 30% master's intellect, Armour is 7822 + 35% master's armour.
Its Health then is 6676 + 7.5 * Stamina and Mana is 1082 + 4.95 * Intellect."
Also it spawns with follow off, passive mode, waterbolt off.
No matter what you do, always spawns like that. You got to manually put it to follow/attack/ use waterbolt
Patch 2.1 : http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_2.1.0
"Ice Armor: Rank 5 will now still trigger when all damage received is prevented by a damage shield, such as Mana Shield."
Does not trigger, proof in attachment
Cheers :)

/petpassive
/petdefensive
/petaggressive
/petfollow
/petautocaston Waterbolt (this won't help you at all since the autocast is bugged.)
Edit: Try this macro.
#showtooltip Summon Water Elemental
/cast [nopet]Summon Water Elemental
/cast !Freeze
/petpassive
/stopmacro [target=pet,nodead]
/script PetDismiss()
You could add "/petautocaston Waterbolt" to the macro, but the autocast feature on pet attacks is bugged, so if you want your pet to spam Waterbolt you'll have to cast it manually.
Edit: I meant /petpassive in the macro. Defensive is just shit.
