In Quebec, our taxe rates are at 14,975%( we actually have two TPS (5%) & TVQ (9,5%)0) that apply on something.
Quick exemple with something that cost 100$
100 + (100 x 0,05)= 105
105 + (105 x 0,095) = 114,975
And mostly of those taxes are going in for the free healthcare ( gotta love Quebec for that )
But the income tax rates are higher than any other province in the Canada though but it still seems to be better than the income tax rates of USA ( except if you are gaining less than 34 000$ / year )

]40 000$,80 000$] = 20$
]80 000$ and more = 24%

By the way , vast majority of the canada speaks english , except the Quebec i.e mostly of the Canadian say Hi when they wanna say Hi :D

In fact that was a joke, and nope, it was a friend of mine a while ago on an other server that told me that. She was from romania also, if you are curious her name was Ionela Berar ( not sure if it was spelled like that, but if no , I believe it was close of it )
