Increase character limit per account

Don't know if this is a suggestion, or just a question because I don't think it's possible.

Is there a way to increase the character creation limit from 8 to like 10? Like WOtlk?

The maximum amount is 10, is ten and has always been 10 throughout the entire history of WoW. This never changed in Wrath either.
