Alternative way to get Thunderfury

So the Christmas event came and went and I still have no thunderfury ;_;. I made more characters than I would like to admit but luck just wasn't on my side ( i got 7 atiesh and 6 sulfuras if anyone wants to trade for thunderfury). How about adding thunderfury to the weapon donor page or something :D. It is a top notch shockadin weapon that I would certainly use over tempest of chaos so it's a shame that the only way I can get thunderfury is to wait another year and hope i'm lucky then. People can donate for sunwell weapons which are best in slot so i'd like to be able to donate for a best in slot weapon too. Thori'dal can be donated for so legendary doanting isn't unheard of. I know legendaries have always had this stigma about them where people feel they should be rare, but shockadins aren't super common and I don't think we will see an explosion of people running around with thunderfury if it could be donated for. Even if we did see an explosion of thunderfuries would it really be worse than all of the brutal weapons running around. And to anyone who wants to respond please don't just reply with a simple no... a reason would be nice.

but besides that, I wouldnt mind as long its 10+ bucks , so not every damn players runs around with legendaries.

Thunderfury is really only viable for shockadins. Even if thunderfury did become more common it wouldnt be nearly as obnoxious as every rogue and their mother having season 4 weapons. Plus by using thunderfury their damage would be much lower.

At least S4 weapons aren't bugged. Lets get TF fixed and see how eager you want it after that. :)

Just curious, are you expecting it to scale with spell damage?
It's a retarded weapon to use as a paladin, on any spec...

Well the fact is that some shockadins do have thunderfury which gives them an unfair advantage over ones that dont. If thunderfury is good due to a bug then it should either be nerfed (remove spell damage scaling) or removed from all people that have it. I will admit that it is absurd that a bugged level 60 item is a best in slot item. Trying to make off like its fine for for an item to be overpowered if its uncommon is a really weak argument. And yes if thunderfury was fixed I wouldnt want it.

You're painting Thunderfury to be something it is not. It is _not_ a top-notch Paladin weapon. I've done the tests and you do less damage than you would if you just stuck to brutal. The only time it is convenient is if you're lucky enough to have it proc when in a large group of people, which you're bound to die in anyway unless you have healers.

In the end it is smarter to just use Brutal (or whatever you're using). The paladin's using this item only use it because it's a vanity item that actually does decent damage. But it is in no way an advantage or overpowered item.

Well anyways thunderfury does scale with spell damage which it never did on live. Im not sure if thats a bug or if its something that is intended. I have been told that the proc can do upwards of 700-800 damage and gimmicky procs and effects that scale with spell damage are what shockadins are all about. If you did add it to the donor weapon page or something for like 10-15$ then there probably wouldnt be a huge influx of people with it if its just an unviable vanity weapon.
