dunno if this could work but, maybe add a little box that shows how many player's are online at the server.

or a button that links to the Changelog topic so ppl can see whats been updated.
and maybe give that button an extra feature , so when the server gets an update. that same button will blink on and off ?

Shamefully i can not do this unless have the database access and connection but I have decided to do something simuler Just download the new one and leave feedback :)

Curious if you could just program it to pull the number from the online list?

This is proberly possible but i had not much time since its christmas but ive made links and a built in web brower to the program, Just click on the navigation button at the top and then what ever you have clicked on it will remember that state and when you open up again it will point you to the exacly same page
