Seriously? You'll get a perfectly functional (as in able to play games, run photoshop, video editing) HP (for an example) laptop for WAY less than a macbook.

I'd like to see where the quality steps in. I don't care about "IT LOOKS NICE!!!" because that has ZERO meaning in the end. You should be looking at the screen, not jerking over how flat the surface of your laptop is.

And what comes to desktops, don't even get me started. In the desktop department, Apple is doing exactly the opposite of what the guy on the youtube comment says. Building a custom PC is where you'll get the quality, Apple however went for pure quantity with their desktops (just because it has a nice processor doesn't mean its great quality overall).

Once again its far fetched to assume any normal person knows jack shit about building a custom computer. Also in case you weren't aware, presentation is a huge part of product quality... so yes my laptop being far flatter than someone else's matters. Maybe not to you but to the majority of the population - if something looks nice it's a better product. Plus I like to have something that looks nice if I'm going to spend a good chunk of money on it. So in the end, looks matter.

In terms of quality, yes a custom build computer will most likely have higher quality than the generic kind, but of all the generic, put together and shipped to you, computers macs have the highest quality.

Why would you be buying a Mac Pro? There's your problem. If you want a desktop, build a hackintosh loool.

I would never buy a Mac FOR the tower and monitor. One reason I love my iMac so much is the fact that is has 1 wire. My speakers/mic/camera/monitor/cpu, everything is 1 unit.

Look at apples prices for things like disk space and RAM though, I couldn't justify paying that much for a prettier pc.
