Thoughts on Hallow's End?
Re: Thoughts on Hallow's End?
Depends what you associate "tomorrow" with. Valve time would suck though. I really should have quoted you when thinking about it =P

His tomorrow's are usually ~2 weeks. As we can see it didn't really come out today. I'll probably when I get back from BlizzCon release the new loot prior to the fixes rolling in. When they do arrive though, they will roll in as well.Peekaboo wrote:Depends what you associate "tomorrow" with. Valve time would suck though. Noo don't. :( it seriously is the worst place to go when you visit America. 95% of the people here are the biggest, fattest, American, WoW nerds. It's the absolute worse impression. Honestly it's really embarrassing...Peekaboo wrote:Kinda close to valve time! ^^

But the Con itself is very much fun, beta testing the games, going to the panels, going up to sponsor booths and doing crap, watching the 3v3 tournament, etc.

Re: Thoughts on Hallow's End?
lol^^
No wait, you're serious? There are guys without weight problems aswell?
Heh, oh yeh when thinking about that... the Blizzcon probably isn't the best example how to measure how the USA fares in that regard, but California is so the best location for me in general... i mean, Blizzcon, Las Vegas... ahr... Area 51... heh, well quite the state to go for, checking on Blizzards new stuff, firing off some McD jokes, dodging over 9000 body slam attempts, going to the strip (on foot ofc, shuttles are for sissies), wasting a crap-ton of money I never had to begin with, enjoying all the free stuff they throw at you, taking a stroll through the desert (at daylight ofc), and getting shot at Area 51 afterwards (well let's say near it at least, I'm a professional! =P), LIKE A BOSS.
Gotta work that plan out a bit I guess, pretty much a rough diamond, but sounds badass.
For this year the stream will do, mostly to get my share of SC2 infusion though. ^^
Just don't forget to capture the moment!

Re: Thoughts on Hallow's End?
Last year I tried playing a game of finding and taking pictures of the most obese people. However, it got pretty hard to play for some reasons. But I did manage to snap one of this lady while in line to play D3.Peekaboo wrote:lol^^

So I tweeted some pictures to the Smolderforge twitter feed (thing that's on front page of forums). I plan on tweeting more, especially when the new expansion is announced. Now, I no NONE of us fucking care about Mists of Pandaria(if that really is the expansion) but nevertheless I'm sure we're all curious and interested.

That's kind of mean, lol.Henhouse wrote:Last year I tried playing a game of finding and taking pictures of the most obese people. However, it got pretty hard to play for some reasons. But I did manage to snap one of this lady while in line to play D3.
And to be honest spotting fat people in America at Blizzcon is like shooting fish in a barrel.

How's that mean, that's cultural surveying. =P
HI USA PLAYERS...
Anyway, awesome SC2 matches, I mostly hate the new HotS multiplayer ideas, too much crazy stuff, D3 information somehow managed to slip by like they weren't present, and the whole Blizzcon sadly was overshadowed by something I never thought to happen... Ghostcrawler really managed to dumb down a dumbed down game into the ninth layer of hell. What the (9th layer of) hell.
I mean I didn't like Wotlk (actually I never played it on retail =P), never tried Cata, and yeah well, you get the idea. WoW had its days of glory quite some years ago. Wouldn't be worried if the next expansion adds IPhone 6 support. Bring the casual, not the player.
edit: You sadly need a twitter account to view pictures stored on their server. .x (and SocialMediaBlock is awesome!)
edit2: no wait I failed... FIXED

Yeah you just click "Display Media" it's just a test of Darwinism.
I did get 2 pictures of massive people I'll be posting later. One was far away on a couch at the more station. He honestly looked like he has no bones and was just blobbed out on the couch.
Meeting Red Shirt Guy was interesting too....

Re: Thoughts on Hallow's End?
Well Hallow's End has come to a close. I hope all of you enjoyed this years event. Usually we have the pumpkins and fun stuff to do, but this year felt a lot more special -- Headless Horseman worked pretty well (next year he will be working better...) , the mall was even more decorated!, Elphaba was a fun little extra event I scripted, as well as of course the new loot from Headless Horseman!
I hope to plan some really fun things for Winter's Veil coming in December! With the random daily present returning... maybe we can expect to see something other than Thunderfury... hmm choices, choices.
