item modification

a server i played in the past had a option to change the look of a item for an Example the rogues Season4 armor same stats but it had the look of the rogues season 2 armor or rogues teir6 armor just a suggestion. it was realy cool to make an item look like a item that you like because me i dont like the look of the rogues Season4 Brutal armor set and would like to make it look like the rogue Season 2 armor. only make the Season armor look like other seasons or teir look like other teir armor. :)

They probably just duplicated the items, make new ones and simply changed the model id on each one. This would take a very long time to do for each set of gear and I don't really have any interest in doing so I'm afraid.

Isn't there a program that let's you do the same thing but only you can see it?

yea there was a program but u got banned by using it because they acted as it would be a hack.
Anyway, I personally wouldnt like such a change of the looks if other players can see it too. U ALWAYS would have to inspect the player if you want to be sure that he isnt wearing another gear than it looks like. that will also be the problem in the new wow patch 4.3 I think.
