Request for Object Restoration
So I tried finding the Object IDs for you, IDK if these are right so I put the name there too.
The Black Anvil (ID 172911)
The Great Anvil (ID 171715)
The Black Forge (ID 00014)
I'll add more later. When I tried to find the Great Forge (which should be restored, as opposed to just putting a forge in there, kinda ruins the point of the area :P) there were three entries... So I just didn't know what to do. Do you know a good website where I can find this stuff? Wowhead is missing most of the objects.

Re: Request for Object Restoration
The old world pretty much misses every object, iirc you also don't see the lava surges in Ironforge, along with the Braziers (object=188423; no idea if it was that one though) for instance.

Re: Request for Object Restoration
Yeah, the Great Anvil and Forge really just needs to be there because Ironforge is completely worthless without it. From a lore perspective it's a joke. The Cities aren't classic world mind you, they're very much relevant in TBC still.
The Black Anvil and Forge are important though because of one for the same reason (The entire town of Ironforge is centered around the anvil, that wasn't an accident) and Shadowforge city (BRD) is also centered around them (notice, its ironFORGE, shadowFORGE. It's about the metalsmithing people). Also though, some things can only be made at the Black Anvil and Forge

Re: Request for Object Restoration
Doesn't change that it's old world to me... =p
But yeah, adding this Forge will totally make people pilgrim to Ironforge, as it has such a meaningful purpose.
Thou shall't craft your gear on thy mighty anvil in thy center of Ironforge!
Don't get me started on the Black Anvil! People love BRD, and they most certainly will party up while enjoying a fine smelt of their stacks of Dark Iron Bars (how devious!) to craft wonderful level 60 gear (iirc I bought the Shadow Reflector from the vendor).
Seriously, it's not me to decide what happens here, but saying it's important is just... wrong. And I thought removing factions from characters is ridiculously minor already... =p
PS.: I'm all in to see every object restored, but it's kinda of a minor priority...

It's old world to you. That doesn't mean it is. Your inaccurate perception of the game doesn't make it reality. Sorry. Also Cut the sarcasm mate. What you're saying is equivelant to me saying I raid therefore fuck PvP don't work on it at all, no one gives a shit. Sorry, but that's just wrong. Several donors and very active players are interested in classic content.Doesn't change that it's old world to me... =p

I don't know that you understand the difficulty in restoring objects. From my understanding, I gave the object ID's so it takes a few minutes. Fixing a spell issue is MUCH more involved. So, people say "oh, they're not going to restore classic world objects for you noob while some spells are still broken." That's wrong. Every object so far I've asked to have restored has been restored/attempted to be restored. including some classic ones in Silithus. It's not hard to do, and keep in mind, I went to track down the ID's so it'd be as easy and simple and painless as possible.
P.S. No disrespect or offense to you in any way in this post, but I think your points =/= facts.
To Henhouse: The more work I could do to make it easier for you the better.

Re: Request for Object Restoration
Yes my liege, thou shall't not read any more sarcasm!
I'm not sure if I should quote your post, as it starts pretty unfavourable, but maybe that's just the world I live in. Telling me I'm wrong, because in your eyes I mentioned that Ironforge never had any role in TBC (I used the portal from Shatt to IF to buy new skills, and on a more serious note the freaking auction house), while that's something you made up in your head alone, is quite dim-witted. I sadly lack the courage to find more diplomatic words for that.
Just for your magnificence... old world, for me, pretty much covers everything which hasn't been altered by TBC. It obviously would be wrong to just say Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, as technically the zones introduced for those continents belong to outlands, so they required the addon to be accessed, which probably answers your question why you have to zone for them (you're a pro or you're a noob)...
I gotta admit that I don't care about Warcraft Lore though, as it's rubbish in my eyes, but I still fail to realize why this came up.
Anyway your perception is most certainly the most accurate one, have one on the house.
PS.: Fu*king hypocrite.

Are you serious? I assume we should forget IoQD too, since it's on Azeroth and not outland right?
