CANNOT LOG IN

Hey everyone hope your all having lots of fun. Anyway my son who plays on this server hooked me up with the files needed to play however I cannot get logged in. I created an account successfully or at least that's what it said however it says information was false. I tried to recreate it and it said invalid or already in use. I am able to access forums but not the game. Anyone have an idea what I could have missed?

The realmlist is correct ty for the reply. I copied the files from my sons pc which means all the relamist, addons, etc would be exactly the same however I did double check them to be sure.. I really appreciate your post it was comforting to receive it knowing the forums are actually visited still and maybe a GM or someone could help this issue. Ty again!!!! Just to clarify, are you trying to log in using your forum account? Because in-game and forum accounts are separate.

Yes, ty for the information I found out later they were two separate deals but I used the same information for both of them. Its not my pc not anything on my end but maybe my email. If it is my email i will compromise and change it to a different one but really hope that its not because i want to keep the same username for both forum and the game for identification reasons and personal wants. Normally I would be upset over it tons more because I am in fact a very honest person. But at the same time i have too put myself in the managements shoes and consider the email to be somewhat suspicious. Sure hope we can get this resolved soon. Once I have been on awhile I firmly believe i will earn my place on this server and maybe earn some respect. Those in the management here i will tell you in advance i will respect your job and your position on this server and be respectful as such. I will also learn to respect you as a player when i have grown to know you. Many thanks for trying to get this resolved. Lots of luck and bless ya all!!

Hello there. A friend of mine told me about the server couple of days ago and i created an account. The problem i have is that when i try to log in my account i can't. Just stops are " connecting " and few seconds later i got " Unable to connect " . I am pretty sure that my realmlist (set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info) is correct and also my patch is. I have no idea what is the problem we've tried everthing we got in mind but still ... nothing. I would appreciate if someone can tell me how to fix it.

Can you verify the realmlist.wtf is indeed .wtf and not "realmlist.wtf.txt" some people let Windows save it with the .txt ending which will cause it not to work at all.

Yes it is .wtf not .wtf.txt. I even tried to change the realmlist to "set realmlist 95.211.121.150" as you said in few other posts but now it keeps saying that the text i have entered is incorrect. :(

That's not our server's IP address. It might have been the old one a long time ago.

The DNS you used (smolderforge.dyndns.info) should work fine, or you can use connect.smolderforge.com. Either one should work fine.

Are your ports 3724 and 8085 opened and WoW.exe allowed to pass through firewall?
