Horde to Alliance Char Transfer

As we already know there So many hordes in this server, This prolly wont effect pve but is effecting Pvp (BGs) ALOT...Everytime i Que , its so unbalanced...and i know a couple of hordes who would like to become alliance, If the Horde to Alliance Transfer was somehow opened , it Might decrease that difference.

I think I made it clear in another topic this isn't possible.

There is no feature to transfer factions in the 2.4.3 client. Only in Wrath. Had it been possible I would have long used it by now. It's also not possible to change via database because of the data blob and the way the 2.4.3 core is still programmed. We would have to manually transfer items, honor, etc, etc for each transfer to a new character which takes a very long time and if we were to even attempt doing that for everyone who asked... lol. Yeah not.

A GM would manually have to remove all the gear / items from the horde character and add them onto an alliance character 1 at a time. I know it's an annoying process but i've seen many server's do this before.

Another thing you could do would be to put a restriction on horde characters. I'm not sure if the dev's here know how to do that but i've seen it done.

If you mean locking horde character creation, it's been done like 2 or 3 times already.

You might actually wanna consider this.
First, you only perform the change one-way: Horde to Alliance, thus the number of requests might not be so big.
Second, the balancing result would benefit 2x from this, as a deleted character from H must automatically become A, so the difference drops by twice the number of characters you transfer.
Third, you can always set a maximum number of transfers per week or something, not to waste your time too much and not to affect the game so suddenly. (Let's say you restrict the number of transfers to one/day, that means 7 per week => in two weeks, the difference between the factions drops by ~30. Considering the total number of players on TBC realm, i say it's quite acceptable.)

This, correlated with the interdiction for the creation of horde character, may result in something closer to what we want.

Ofc it's possible.
In DB u can find the character (name) and there u should change the number..
what i mean it's ..for example:
(just a random example)
1 = human
2 = orc
3 = dwarf
....etc.

You do not have to move HP , AP and all :) , just change the race "number".
with mysql or heydisql :) just open the database (db): Database.name -> Accounts -> Characters :D
when i had my own wow server i did that move :D so you can try.
