New Arena Gear Prices / Rating Requirments

Gloves =1525 rating + 350 arena points OR 5000 honor
Chest = 1550 rating + 400 arena points OR 7500 honor
Legs = 1600 rating + 400 arena points OR 7500 honor
Helm = 1650 rating + 400 arena points OR 7500 honor
Shoulder = 1700 rating + 350 arena points OR 5000 honor
Brutal
Gloves - Lowered to 1750 rating and be purchased for [350 arena points] or 5000 honor
Chest - Lowered to 1900 rating and be purchased for [400 arena points] or 7500 honor
Leggings - Lowered to 1850 rating and be purchased for [400 arena points] or 7500 honor
Shoulders - Lowered to 1800 rating and be purchased for [350 arena points] or 5000 honor
Helmet - Lowered to 1875 rating and be purchased for [400 arena points] or 7500 honor

I sort of forget how much honor you can get and how quick on TBC. But I would really like for the prices for gear on S3 to be possibly above 10k. I know that's high but we're going to offer BoJ -> Honor Points conversion too so keep that in mind. I want it to be accessible to all who put the time in.

I dont think you understand Henhouse. Its not the honor prices that are a problem, its the arena point prices. The rating are a problem i can deal with but having s3 gear the same price as s4 is not right. And also having off pieces (belt,boots...) of brut gear costing around 1 months grind is not right.

21k Honor for S3 Chest/Legs/Helm
14k Honor for S3 Shoulder/Gloves
On top of that Vindicator (which is free atm) PvP gear shouldn't be free anymore and should cost conor aswell (9k-14k).
Veteran's is for free of course (S2 pvp stuff).

S3 Weapons depend, 2h should be 21k, 1h/shield 18k (not sure how many % they are itemized), offhand crap (idols and stuff) 14k.

That would ask for some dedication, about a piece every 2 days.

We're working on S3 changes at this time. I'll see what else I can get done for tonight but we'll also be taking into account the new Badge of Justice -> Honor points converting which will be done.

Well if we push people back to Veteran's it will create an even bigger gap. It's probably best we let that part stay the same.

It would be pretty much just more grind to be visually up to date. ^^
In the case of the Rogue Boots for example when comparing Veteran's with Vindicator's:

+21 armor
+3 agility
+4 stamina
+3 critical strike rating
+6 attack power

But it's ofc your decision, it definitely would cause some uproar from most players. With all 3 parts it would be a stat loss of about 8 agi/10 sta/10 crit/15ap (estimated).

you're forgetting that veteran's leather bracers is what rogues would use with that set, but with vindicator's most (should at least) go for dragonhide, because they're plain better.

It was just a comparison (even with S2 there was a discussion for dragonhide being better, at least when it comes to bracers), with S3 being all honor it's still an upgrade in the longrun. People just would have to BG a bit more to upgrade 3 parts, but again I'm not trying to force a change, I'm just mentioning that it's a neglectable difference when it comes to stats, while people would still get it for aesthetics.
