Subtelty Rouge PVP Weapon Choice

Hi everyone, I wanted to make a new thread from the last and since I can't private message anyone I needed to bring up this topic once again. I having trouble figuring out which weapons to select from, I was told to go with a slow main hand weapon and a fast off hand weapon and the weapons that I'm using are the following...

Main Hand (1st slot) Brutal Gladiator Right Ripper 2.60 speed
Off Hand (2nd slot) Brutal Gladiator Shiv 1.40 speed

I'm having a little bit of confusion figuring this stuff out, if these aren't the best weapons for my class / build then let me know what else would work better, but the way I'm interpreting it is my off hand needs to be faster and the main? or am I clearly missing something here other than speed?
