Hardest part of an event you publish on a forums with sign-ups and stuff is to actually get people to SHOW UP. We've had a 2v2 tourny before and half of the people who signed up didn't show up at the event so we had to take random people in.ZatYo wrote:t6/swp/badges as reward of a pvp event? thats dumb.. the reward must be something fun that doesnt give u any advantage but only u have it and ppl know that u've won the event (mounts,pets,tabards,maybe some 60 lvl title) and probably some arena points (if its arena event)
and instead of making daily stupid events u should think of a good 1 and annonce it some days before it starts so ppl wont miss it and will be ready for it.I'm allways up to give some ideas so feel free to contact me ingame or forums.
Secondly, setting up a reward that people don't think is "lame" is rather hard, because we do not want to give out high end gear (brutal, swp) nor titles (we're still looking into getting the pvp title system).
Now, mounts. All the "rare" mounts like Headless Horseman's, spectral tiger and such are arena season winner exclusive, so those are not available for us to award from events, and the other less rare mounts are dull and people would just complain "they're not good enough". Now items like pets, tabards, random amount of badges and other items that really do not give players any advantage are good rewards, but usually results in an outburst of cry "why so bad rewards!!" and something else like that.
