Warlock Pets

Eh so...

I found a glitch where i can teach warlock pets abilities that don't belong to them -

For example: i can teach my voidwalker seduce and counterspell
and i can teach my felhunter seduce and intercept


Long story short... it's a glitch and whatever... and it's cheap... but there are other core related issues (such as mace stun proc rate or cyclone not being trinketable and hots applied before someone was cycloned still heal) that are a major buff to certain classes that won't/can't be fixed.

So-- Is this bannable?

There are lots of core issues we cannot fix at this time. When you say you can learn them, can you cast them as well?

Yes --

If i teach a voidwalker seduce and counterspell, i can then have my voidwalker use seduce and counterspell...

Basically any pet can learn any ability. However each pet is only allowed allowed to learn a TOTAL of 4 abilities, and each pet starts off knowing one ability, so a maximum of 3 of any pet ability can be taught to any pet, with the exception of the felguard, who can learn 5 abilities and starts off knowing none, so he can learn ANY 5 abilities.

(and by "pet ability" i mean warlock pet abilities, no other abilities can be taught to pets)


Also -- I realize this is in the core and can't or may not ever be fixed (especially from your end). However, my main question is that USING this glitch, is it bannable?

just use your best judgement, i'm sure even if you did use it you'd end up more and more people knowing about it and using this bug.
