Patched to 2.4.3 but says BC isn't installed.

Basically I installed and patched it all up and when I try and log in it tells me that the account is ready for Burning Crusade but that my pc doesn't have Burning Crusade data

Did anything disrupt the installation?

No nothing at all.

The only thing I can think of is to completely reinstall.

However you can login to the account manager and see what expansion it says you're on, set it to "Classic" and see if you can login then.
