Never ever buy a computer thats sold as a 'ready to run' pack, you will waste alot of money on it. (Macs included)

Build up your own computer and it'll come up as much cheaper (with equal or even better components) than those ready to run packages.

Endania, I died a little inside.

I'm not exactly tech savvy, if you catch my drift. Tbh my dream computer would just be something I could have WoW at maximum settings and be able to fraps without any sort of FPS or interface lag.

For now I'll stick with this Gamer 400(lolyeahitsucks.)

Not really, the computer is amazing. It's only 20lb really flat, makes no noise and has LED backlit emitters, which not that many people's computers have. About $200 of that was taxes by the way. So all in all, it's the same deal you would get for a Windows equivalent pretty much with specs similar, maybe better but the computer isn't going to be all one small unit like the iMac is. You're going to have a big desktop that will go under your desk and wires all connecting to a monitor which maybe comes with it, but probably not.

So really I don't see what the big deal is.

Well since the real testing can only be done when we're trying to implement the core, no, we haven't really been able to test much. There is a possibility that we're going to be trying to put the core back in again tonight, but I cannot make any promises. I do know that we're going to do some maintenance to work on the databases.

Tonight, to compare the small differences between Trinity and Oregon we decided to put in a core of Trinity right before Oregon took over (last rev of Trinity before they dropped support of 2.4.3) and it turned out to be that both cores are producing the same problems.

To be honest I am running out of thoughts as to why we're getting new crashes with spell related stuff. I don't think there is a way I can safely reset everyone's spells either, nor is that something I want to have to do. But we'll keep trying to get this in, but it might take some more time.

I'm in no mood to restore the near 1000 people's donation gear. The amount of time that would take is horrendous. Wiping would ruin far too many things, not just donors. You have to remember some people have had characters on here for a long, long time and have stuff they would never want to give up.

Honestly, I've used about 60 USD on this server and I would gladly give it up for the new core. Making it possible to earn brutal through arena for everyone would really help make the server competitive. Changing donation awards to mounts, arena points and other stuff would be more fair towards the people that aren't able to donate. It's just a thought. I'm sure there are lots of people that disagree, but I figured I'd speak my mind.
